95WNiFe Alloy Counterweight

1. What's 95WNiFe Alloy Counterweight?
95WNiFe alloy counterweight is a high-density tungsten alloy counterweight made with tungsten as the matrix (W content approximately 95%), nickel (Ni approximately 3.5%) and iron (Fe approximately 1.5%) as the binder phase, manufactured through powder metallurgy liquid-phase sintering. CTIA's 95WNiFe alloy counterweight achieves greater mass concentration within smaller volume, suitable for components with higher requirements for counterweight space, mass distribution and mechanical load-bearing capacity.
2. Features of CTIA's 95WNiFe Alloy Counterweight
(1) High Density and Small Volume Occupation: Density is 17.75–18.35 g/cm³. Under the same mass the required volume is smaller, suitable for mass compensation and balancing structures in narrow installation spaces.
(2) High Mass Concentration and Counterweight Efficiency: Tungsten content is approximately 95%, enabling greater mass concentration per unit volume, suitable for rotating and precision components with higher requirements for counterweight dimensions and mass distribution.
(3) High Strength and Strong Load-Bearing Capacity: Tensile strength is not less than 724 MPa and 0.2% yield strength is not less than 517 MPa, capable of withstanding inertial loads, vibration and continuous mechanical stress during operation.
(4) Good Vibration Resistance and High Operational Stability: Offers relatively high stiffness and strength, usable for static balance, dynamic balance, high-speed rotating inertial components and vibration control structures.
(5) Good Machinability and Flexible Structures: Supports turning, milling, drilling, tapping and grinding, with mounting holes, notches, steps and irregular contours easily machined.
(6) Dimensional Stability with Low Thermal Expansion: The linear expansion coefficient is approximately 4.4 × 10⁻⁶/K near 20°C, reducing thermal dimensional shifts and helping preserve the designed fit between the counterweight and its mounting structure.
3. Applications of CTIA's 95WNiFe Alloy Counterweight
(1) Aerospace: Used in aircraft control surface counterweights, rotor balancing parts, gyroscope rotors, inertial elements, flight control mechanisms and aviation actuators.
(2) Industrial Machinery: Used in machine tool spindles and rotating components, vibrating screens, conveying equipment, automation equipment, industrial robots and high-speed rotating mechanisms.
(3) Automotive and Racing: Used in crankshaft counterweights, flywheels, drive shafts, wheel balancing parts, engine rotating components and vehicle chassis balancing structures.
(4) Precision Instruments: Used in instrument base counterweights, flywheels, gyroscopes, motion mechanisms, precision balancing parts and inertial measurement assemblies.
(5) Oil Drilling: Used in downhole tools, logging instruments, drilling stabilization members, measurement-while-drilling tools and downhole rotating assemblies.
(6) Sports Equipment: Used in golf club heads, racket counterweights, fishing sinkers, dart shafts, fitness equipment and other sports equipment requiring mass distribution adjustment.
(7) Machinery and Rotating Systems: Used in rotors, centrifugal mechanisms, balancing discs, inertial wheels, rotating shaft systems and high-speed rotating components.
(8) Electronics and Small Devices: Used in camera gimbals, precision actuators, vibration control components and small rotating devices.
