Customized Tungsten Alloy Counterweight Block

1. What's Customized Tungsten Alloy Counterweight Block?
Customized tungsten alloy counterweight block is high-specific-gravity balance weight produced using tungsten as the matrix and nickel, iron, or copper as binder metals. CTIA's tungsten alloy counterweight block allows greater mass to be concentrated within narrow or irregular spaces while achieving precise counterweighting, center-of-gravity adjustment, and assembly adaptation.
2. Features of CTIA's Customized Tungsten Alloy Counterweight Block
(1) High Density and Small Volume: Density is approximately 16.5–18.8 g/cm³, allowing a compact counterweight design for equipment with limited installation space.
(2) Irregular Structure Adaptation: Different profiles can be designed according to equipment internal space, installation position and load conditions to adapt to curved surfaces, grooves, steps and irregular installation areas.
(3) Concentrated and Precise Mass: Greater mass is concentrated within smaller dimensions, facilitating precise adjustment of center of gravity and mass distribution.
(4) Good Precision Machining Performance: Supports turning, milling, grinding, drilling and tapping. Hole positions, slots, steps, threads and complex contours can be machined.
(5) Good Dimensional Stability: Coefficient of thermal expansion is approximately 4–6×10⁻⁶/°C, supporting stable dimensions, consistent positioning and precise assembly.
(6) High Strength and Deformation Resistance: Offers good mechanical strength and deformation resistance, meeting counterweight requirements of rotating components, motion mechanisms and mechanical structures.
3. Applications of CTIA's Customized Tungsten Alloy Counterweight Block
(1) Aerospace: Used in aircraft control surfaces, helicopter rotors, aero-engines, inertial systems and satellite structures to concentrate mass and regulate mass distribution within constrained spaces.
(2) Automotive and Racing: Used in crankshafts, drive shafts, flywheels, chassis and suspension systems to achieve mass adjustment and dynamic balance within compact structures.
(3) Mechanical Equipment: Used in rotors, turbines, flywheels, rotating mechanisms and other motion components to reduce vibration and operational deviation by adjusting mass and position.
(4) Precision Instruments: Used in gyroscopes, optical instruments, measuring equipment and precision motion mechanisms to achieve precise mass configuration and center-of-gravity adjustment.
(5) Robotics and Automation: Used in robotic arms, actuators, drive systems and moving components, suitable for equipment with compact internal space and motion stability requirements.
(6) Ships and Ocean Engineering: Used in ship ballast, underwater equipment and marine equipment to provide greater counterweight mass within limited space.
(7) Medical and Other Precision Equipment: Used in certain medical equipment, precision motion mechanisms and structural components requiring compact counterweighting, with installation forms customized according to equipment space and mass requirements.
